While Kendra Wilkinson managed to impress the judges with her moves, the reality star says that her first performance on Dancing with the Stars was just about the most nerve-wracking moment of her life.
"In the cha cha you're not supposed to bend your knees but I had to or I would have passed out," Wilkinson, whose partner is pro Louis Van Amstel, told UsMagazine.com. "I was so nervous, I barely took a breath."
In fact, Wilkinson, 25, admitted that pretty much everything about getting out on the floor made her want to crumble.
"I have a fear of the stage, a fear of the audience," said the former Girls Next Door star. "(The bright lights of the ballroom) made me dizzy. But I pulled it out and the fact that Carrie Ann (Inaba) said I didn't miss one step made me feel so good."
But Kendra wasn't alone, as butterflies seem to be pretty common before the big performance night. Dancing veteran Cheryl Burke admits even she still gets anxious before it's time to get out there.
"When I got here at the beginning of the day I wasn't nervous at all," said Burke, a two-time champ. "But two minutes before the show I thought, 'I'm going to throw up.'"
But Burke's partner, WWE star Chris Jericho, wasn't bothered by her nerves. "That's a sign of a professional -- you get nervous before you perform," he said. "I'm just happy we got that first one under our belts."
